As a Junior Girl Scout

A girl should:

Know and understand the Girl Scout Promise and Law
Plan and take part in an Investiture and Rededication ceremony
Plan and participate in flag ceremonies
Know the history of Girl Scouting
Know Girl Scout ways and language
Understand the meaning of the World Trefoil Pin and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts
Plan and participate in a Scouts’ Own
Know Girl Scout special days and have an opportunity to celebrate them
Plan and participate in community service projects
Take an active part in troop government
Know about troop budgeting and dues
Participate in activities in all five worlds of interest
Plan and participate in Bridging ceremony

She may also:

Earn proficiency badges
Earn Contemporary Issues participation patches
Earn the Signs
Earn the Junior Girl Scouts Leadership pin
Earn the bridge to Cadettes patch
Earn the Junior Aide patch
Earn Girl Scouts of Chicago’s Junior Girl Scout Badges
Earn other Girl Scouts of Chicago specialty patches, such as museum patches
Plan and participate in Court of Awards ceremony
