Chocolate Sale

Thank you so much for your support of our recent World's Finest Chocolate Sale. The grand total for the school was $16,000. This means a profit of $8,000. The highest selling classroom was Room 9 with a total of $1,525 in sales. This money goes directly into the school budget for current operating expenses.

Fruit Sale

The 2nd annual Fruit Sale has begun. Perhaps you'd like to place an order for delicious fresh fruit as an Easter treat for family and friends. This is our final fundraiser for the year. Remember, the profit percentage is credited toward your $200 fundraising quota for the year. Status reports will be issued to each family in April.

Terra Nova Testing

Terra Nova Testing will be administered in Grades 3, 5, and 7 on March 2nd through March 5th. Test results will be available to parents in late April.

Lenten Observance

Teachers and students continue to focus on the three major themes of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving during this holy season. Family prayer and sacrifice is also a very necessary component. A special Family Mass and Breakfast is planned for Sunday, March 21st. More news to follow at a later date.

Mardi Gras

Thank you to all who worked on this fun event for the boys and girls and to all who participated. We hope it will continue to grow and be more successful each year.

P.A.A. Meeting

There will be a P.A.A. Meeting (S.T.M. Sports Program) on Wednesday, March 10th, in the school library. We need to work together to plan a successful sports program for our students for 1999-2000. Please come and join this very exciting undertaking. All are welcome.

Illinois Tuition Tax Credit

There will be an information session regarding H.B. 999 (Illinois Tuition Tax Credit) at St. Cajetan School on Monday, March 8th, at 7:00 p.m. We need parent support.

1999-2000 Registration

Registration for the 1999-2000 school year will take place during March. Please return the forms as soon as possible so that plans can be made for the new year. Remember, if you recommend a new family, you will receive a $100 tuition credit for next year.

Transportation Claim forms

Transportation Claim forms are now available in the school office. If you live 1 1/2 miles or more, or have verification from the State for a safety hazard living less than 1 1/2 miles from school, please stop at the office to complete the form.
