November 1998 Newsletter

We thank you for your enthusiastic participation in our annual St. Thomas More Sweepstakes Drive. We are having the Grand Prize drawing on Sunday, November 1st, at 1:30 p.m., in Donlan Hall.

Special Note

At the last School Board Meeting, it was decided that parents who wish to do more than the mandatory $200.00 in fundraising could apply this to tuition credit.

Example: One family sold $800 worth of merchandise in the September Innisbrook sale. The 50% profit would be $400. The $200 was applied to their mandatory fundraising for the year. Of the extra $200 raised, $100 (50%) will go to the school and $100 (50%) will go toward tuition credit for that family.

This could be very worthwhile for families to consider in future fundraisers.

Report Cards

Report Cards will be given to the students on Friday, November 6th. Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Sunday, November 8th. We look forward to seeing all of you.

Rolling Skating Party

The Rolling Skating Party on October 29th was very successful. We thank all the families who participated.
