New Student Registration
We urge you to invite friends and neighbors to consider St. Thomas More for next year. There are still openings in all grades including a full day 3- and 4-year-old program. Extended Day services are available from 6:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Remember, there will be a $100.00 tuition discount for anyone who recommends another family.
Open House
St. Thomas More School will have an Open House on Sunday, May 17th, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. All are welcome! This would be an excellent opportunity to bring along some new families to see the school. All are invited to attend Mass at St. Thomas More Church at 11:15 a.m.
School Board
We wish to thank Marguerite McMahon and June Little for their generous service over the past three years. We welcome Ralph Norris (2nd term), and Terry Campos, and Mary Banks as new members for the next three years.
Achievement Tests
The results of the tests given in Grades 3, 5, and 7 will arrive soon. Notices will be sent to parents through students.
Chocolate Sale
We thank you for your support of our recent fundraiser. The profit was $6,000.00. Those who requested will receive credit on their 1997-98 volunteer fee. For others, the profit for your sales will be applied to your 1998-99 fundraising obligation.
Manna Program
We are working hard to establish this a year round fundraiser. The certificates listed below are available for purchase at the school office every day. Certificates for many other stores may be ordered (prepaid). Pick up an order blank at the school office. Everyone buys groceries and other items every week. Why not get in the habit of purchasing certificates through the school? All purchases after May 1st will be credited to your 1998-99 fundraising obligation.
P.A.A. Meeting
May 4th, 7:00 p.m., in the school library. Are you interested in enhancing our sports program for the next year? Come to this meeting and share ideas with us.
May Crowning
St. Thomas More has had a long tradition of honoring the Blessed Mother, Mary, during the month of May with a special procession and crowning of her statue in Church. Each year the Second Grade (First Communion Class) and the Eighth Grade (Graduation Class) are the honored participants. Our celebration will be on Tuesday, May 5th, at 1:45 p.m. in the Church. All are welcome.
Dress-up Day
All students are asked to wear dress-up clothes on May 5th to make our May Day a festive occasion for all.

Many students have been hard at work preparing for this big event. Thursday, May 7th, at 12:45 p.m. in Donlan Hall. Come and enjoy the fun.
